Rebecca Kelly

Rebecca has always had a love for animals and began working within a dog groomers at the age of 14. Once finishing school, Rebecca went to university and graduated with a Bsc(Hons) degree in Veterinary Nursing.

Rebecca then worked in a small animal practice in Uddingston before moving to a 24/7 hospital in Glasgow. Within the 4 years that Rebecca worked within the hospital she worked within the wards, intensive care unit and out of hours departments. She gained a lot of experience dealing with emergencies and critical patients with gave her the passion to complete a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care that she passed with distinction in 2022.

Rebecca joined Avondale in September of 2023 after feeling like she wanted to build connections with clients and patients. In July 2025, Rebecca was delighted to be granted the opportunity to step up to the head nurse position. Rebecca is passionate about making practices more cat friendly, helping patients in emergency scenarios and building relationships with patients and clients.

Out with work Rebecca has 2 rescue pets - Tucker a German Shepherd and Harry a tabby cat. She enjoys going to the cinema, playing video games and playing mini golf.
