About Us

Find out more about our onsite equine facilities

The Avondale Equine Service covers a wide area from Glasgow in the North, Moffat in the South, East Calder in the East and Galston in the West.

The practice is dedicated to reinvesting the money you spend on veterinary care, into equipment and training, therefore allowing us to provide the best possible service and facilities for your horse.

We have stabling facilities allowing our daytime patients to relax whilst awaiting or recovering from procedures. In the event of overnight hospitilisation, we have 24 hour CCTV which is monitored by the veterinary surgeon on call, with horses being attended in person if required.

The equine stocks provide a secure and safe restraint to allow reproductive work, standing surgical procedures, dental work, stem cell therapy, endoscopy etc.

Save on Visit Charge

Make an appointment to attend the Equine surgery Free of Charge for vaccination, dental work, weight check etc. A minimal hospitalisation charge will still apply for patients staying overnight.
