Colin Buchan

Colin graduated from Glasgow Vet School and after 2 years working in mixed practice returned to Scotland to further his interest in farm work. Colin’s main interests are cattle foot trimming and mastitis prevention. He is an Official Veterinarian for the Animal and Plant Health Agency and a member of the British Cattle Veterinary Association and the Sheep Veterinary Society. Colin is an AHDB mobility mentor for their Healthy Hooves programme.

Colin won the title ‘Dairy Vet of the Year’ at the 2019 Dairy Industry Cream Awards. Outside of work Colin enjoys spending time with his young family and watching rugby (or any sport!)
